We are committed to creating a brighter future for Congolese girls and women. Through our comprehensive programs and continued advocacy, we aim to empower them and help them become leaders in their communities. We believe in the power of education, health, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and policy advocacy to transform lives and create a more equitable world.

We have award 24 scholarships exclusively for talented and deserving girls in the DR of Congo.

Our initiatives

  • Education

    Sending girls to school yearly, financing full tuition and providing essential resources for a successful educational path, like textbooks and school supplies, along with thorough aid to ensure complete involvement and excellence in their education.

  • Business Grant Program

    In the DRC, many women are forced to borrow from predatory lenders just to start a small business or cover basic needs — and the crushing interest rates keep them trapped in debt for years. The Furahi Foundation Grant Program exists to break that cycle. We provide interest-free grants to Congolese women, giving them the capital they need to launch businesses, support their families, and build a future on their own terms.   • Entrepreneurship

    Invest in rural women and tackle systemic obstacles in agriculture, advocating for their rights and highlighting their crucial role in community development and global food security.

  • Policy and Advocacy

    Advocate for improved access to education and entrepreneurship opportunities for women at local and international levels, leveraging policy to create lasting change and push for reforms favoring women's empowerment.

  • Health Care

    Establish a healthcare fund to cover any health-related issues our members face, recognizing health as a fundamental right essential for pursuing educational and entrepreneurial goals.
